This section of the site provides People information for 'Open Days', 'Groups', 'Sports and Clubs', 'Shows and Parties', 'Services Aspects' and finally 'People away from work' images.

• Open Days:

  This has images from Retirement days, when old employees used to return for a get-together and a trip round the factory to see old collegues, and Family Days when the site celebrated an Anniversary such as the 50th birthday

• Groups:

  These are images of singletons, pairs, groups and teams of people from thoughout the life of the factory.

• Sports and Clubs:

  These cover Sporting events (Apprentice, Inter-Departent and Inter-factory events) and Club events (Shooting, Archery etc.)

• Shows and parties:

  During the war Shows were presented in the canteen and some of these were captured and are shown here. In the latter days the Social Club arranged a number of Fashion Shows in aid of charity and some of the these are shown. A regular event to be held was a Christmas Party for children of employees.

• Services:

  These cover the three emergency services which were based on site i.e. the Fire Service, Ambulance and Medical Service and the Police Service.

• Off Site:

  People away from work, these are images of Nottingham people away from the factory environment - can they be recognised out of workwear?
